Boise Pottery

Black Clay is the “terra cotta” of Vietnamese pottery. It is made from the local soils of Vietnam that are dark tan to brown in color. These materials are then formed into hundreds of different styles and fired at extremely high temperatures to create a long-lasting durability. These pots aren’t glazed or colored during the manufacturing process, which makes them the most organic looking pots in our store.

The clay density, thickness, and very high firing temperature of this Vietnamese pottery allows it to be left outside all winter long.
